Howard Vineyard is a family-owned Adelaide Hills winery set amongst towering gum trees, and terraced lawns. The winery takes its name form pioneering horticulturist Amos William Howard. Head Winemaker Tom Northcott’s winemaking approach is to pick at optimal ripeness for lean flavours to showcase the quality and true expression of our vineyards. Howard Vineyard wines are light to medium body with vibrant flavours and great natural acidity. Pinot noir, chardonnay, pinot gris and sauvignon blanc are sourced from the 470m altitude Schoenthal 'Beautiful Valley' Vineyard, near Lobethal, whilst Howard’s Nairne Vineyard, in the warmer Mt Barker district is home to shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. All the wines are estate-grown.

Chris Murphy is a highly regarded West Australian musician, best known as the frontman of the iconic band Murphy’s Lore, which he led from its formation in 1993 through to 2006. Over the years, Chris and the band played extensively across WA and nationally, sharing stages with legends like Jimmy Barnes and Daryl Braithwaite, and even touring internationally to Singapore. As a solo performer, Chris has built a reputation for captivating live shows using just his acoustic guitar, powerful vocals, and sharp sense of humour—qualities that earned him a spot on Kevin Bloody Wilson’s 2004 UK/Ireland tour. National fame came in 2006 through his standout fourth-place finish on Australian Idol, particularly for his electrifying rendition of “Evie (Part 1).” Chris has continued performing and recording, including duet collaborations with Adam Brand and James Blundell, and national support slots for Creedence Clearwater Revisited. His career spans solo albums, tribute acts, and high-profile gigs, all while remaining grounded in family life with his wife Sherri and their three children. He also performs with his brothers in The Murphy Brothers, who released their album Thick As Thieves in 2013.

Marianne Joy began her music career at 17 and has performed internationally, including in a BBC talent search, and at high-profile venues like Crown Perth and Optus Stadium. Valerio Fiorini, a Rome-born guitarist, is classically trained and holds a jazz degree from WAAPA, having studied with world-renowned musicians. Dario Jiritano, an experienced upright and electric bassist, also a WAAPA graduate, has toured Europe and remains active in Perth’s jazz scene as both a performer and educator. Together, they bring a rich blend of talent and global experience to the stage.
