The Lady M Jazz Trio features three accomplished musicians: vocalist Marianne Joy (Lady M), guitarist Valerio Fiorini, and bassist Dario Jiritano. Marianne Joy began her music career at 17 and has performed internationally, including in a BBC talent search, and at high-profile venues like Crown Perth and Optus Stadium. Valerio Fiorini, a Rome-born guitarist, is classically trained and holds a jazz degree from WAAPA, having studied with world-renowned musicians. Dario Jiritano, an experienced upright and electric bassist, also a WAAPA graduate, has toured Europe and remains active in Perth’s jazz scene as both a performer and educator. Together, they bring a rich blend of talent and global experience to the stage.

Whether you’re a fan or jazz, funk, live music or just keen to hear Bob the Builder arranged for 5 horns, there’s something for you at this show.

Joshua Nicholls +7 (JN+7) is an original jazz octet formed in 2018, presenting large ensemble jazz tunes in Joshua's unique compositional style: an eclectic blend of funk, progressive rock, free jazz, heavy metal and cool-school. The one common thread: an infectious groove.

This exciting performance will premiere a suite of new tunes that will take the band “off the charts” allowing chance and randomness into the performance. And you get to be involved!

Featuring a comically oversized deck of playing cards, AFL team songs, medleys of popular tunes categorised by age group (Duran Duran for the parents and Bluey for the kids!), anything can… and will… happen!
